Wow. Competence doesn’t matter. Public policy doesn’t matter. Intellect doesn’t matter. Scary af. As a straight white male who came of age in the early 70s this take scares the crap outta me because I fear it may well be truth.

I devour your content. And I’m inspired by it. My dad flew 57 combat missions in WWII and I have been to Normandy. Your parent’s story sticks with me. I was adopted as an infant and only recently discovered that my biological father was Ashkenazi. So there’s that!

Misogyny and racial prejudice, exactly. And I’ve read recently that Kamala Harris is bypassing the CA Governor race in favor of running again in 2026. As much as I fully support Harris and voted for her, it would be a repeat mistake for the Dems. Same old same old, misogyny and racial prejudice.

I admire and supported Harris in 2024, but in this hate-filled climate she isn’t a viable candidate.

Agree 100%, she's fabulous, but is unelectable.

She was also unelectable in 2024. Seem like an extremely avoidable error when we had somebody who had beaten Trump already.

Would be a gamble for sure but may depend on how bad it gets financially for next year. People are mobilizing.

I agree; it’s too early to make that determination. I am ever-hopeful (naively, perhaps) that enough people will see the mistake that they made by not electing HER leader of the free world, as we were until recently. Then there’s THAT: I’m not convinced that she truly lost the election….

KH would not move forward if favorable conditions did not exist as I believe she has a great deal of integrity. We shall see who throws hat in ring.

Public opinion is shifting among people who voted for Donnie...but can we as a country overcome white supremacy and innate misogyny? And what would be the indicators if folks are open minded enuf to hold a majority ? I guess having the candidate pull far ahead and maintain a good margin, which did not happen in the 3 mos !!! KH had in 2024. Never have I ever seen such neck to neck numbers, very anxiety producing. Followed by a crushing blow to democracy as we absolutely knew what orange menace would do. We READ project 2025.

Polling is not reliable, tho since our devices are read each night you'd think profile algorithms would produce better predictions

These sycophantic clowns clearly broke the law. They clearly violated OPSEC rules. They all know that the Signal app cannot be used in communications subject to the Presidential Records Act of 1978., and they know why. They all know they should not be using their personal phones to discuss National Defense information. I think their conduct injures this Nation’s security and is a lot more than “gross criminal negligence”.

CENTCOM would have classified the Yemen Strike Plan. The Strike Plan should have been classified Top Secret SBI SAP (Need to Know). That would be recorded at MacDill AFB in Tampa, CENTCOM headquarters. They govern this document’s classification level unless officially superseded by the OCA or the POTUS in a written document.

Two questions. 1) What was the security classification first assigned to this Strike Plan? 2) Has this classification level been changed, and if so, what date and time?

I asked at their Public Affairs Office. I expect no reply. https://hotbuttons.substack.com/p/cabal-signals-classified-conflict?r=3m1bs

It’s racism, to be sure. But the deepest current of their movement rejects the highest spiritual and ethical values humanity has ever known: Truth, Love, Honor, Compassion, Justice. In their place remains only a grinning skull of predation.

Wow, when you got to the "over six feet tall, white, straight male with hair," I recognized that from my career. I could clearly identify who would and wouldn't make it to the executive level of any company I worked in. It had nothing to do with competence, just the exact physical characteristics you listed and sufficiently yes-man.

Finally, the ugly truth. Thank you for putting this out there, it is horrifying and disgusting. I am not only disappointed in my country, I'm disappointed in humans. With the ussr's help, we're fast becoming the ussa.

Not only as candidates. We need avg white dudes on tv, podcasts, social media. I’m a white lady that lives and works in WI amongst swing voters. They don’t even hear anyone else. White guys that speak simply and plainly are the only hope to change minds. I hate it but it’s true.

The crazy thing is that Obama was as much white as black. He was bi-racial. In fact, most African-Americans have white blood, and I'm Sicilian and my ancestry test showed I'm nearly 3 percent African. This racist crap is sick and will bring the end of America and what it represents and hoped to be.

I think you are wrong. It’s not the voters, it’s the gerrymandering. Alabama Republicans went to the Supreme Court 3 times to try to stop the redistricting of Alabama District 2 and failed. We elected Shomari Figures, a Democrat who is very vocal about reproductive rights, to the House. He represents the second largest district in Alabama.

I believe this victory is the most significant and underreported signal that the majority of people will vote FOR the candidate who represents progressive values.

If it can happen in Alabama it can happen anywhere. And that’s probably the reason the historic victory is not reported on at all.

It’s not the voters who are not embracing the 21st century.

I think Dems have to refrain from speaking truths about engrained racism and bigotry, truths that right now make white people reflexively defensive. They need to be pragmatic, focus on kitchen table issues and fixing the VA programs, health programs, clean air and water programs, and Social Security that Trump is breaking.

Still struggling with this myself.

If we make it to the next election we cannot have 74 million ??sit at home instead of voting because they are too conflicted and tortured by some unresolved Freudian shit pooling just beneath the skin... we are long overdue for a woman president . KH was immediately "DEI hire " among other things. I have had talks even recently with 22 yr old men ( babies really ) who voted for trump and fully trust his opinion of KH as having no experience !! Laughable how gullible these kids are. Scary how a whole generation has been schooled by rote and not taught critical thinking. We have failed them. Hope this will turn around now that tRump's policies hurt them big time. It is wonderful and horrible to be living thru this incredibly moronic historical time. Wonderful only if we manage to turn it around.
